RDA is the new cataloguing standard that will replace the Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules (AACR).
CAVAL is delighted to announce a series of half day seminars designed to introduce library managers and other non-cataloguers from member libraries to the specific concepts of RDA. Attendees will gain a good understanding of RDA concepts as well as familiarisation with use of the RDA online tool kit.

Melbourne, VIC – Michael Robinson, currently the Hong Kong Institute of Education Librarian, is returning to Australia in September to become Chief Executive Officer of the university library services co-operative, CAVAL.
Andrew Wells, CAVAL Board Chair, welcomed the appointment, noting that “Michael’s experience is just right for CAVAL, combining a strong track record of university library leadership and business development”.
