CAVAL manages members' rich shared collection end-to-end. From preserving to knowledge sharing, it is all for the benefit of future generations of scholars.
The shared collection is preserved at the CARM (CAVAL Archival and Research Materials) Centre, Australia’s premier archiving facility, and provides a fast delivery interlibrary loan service. Requested material can be digitally delivered to the user-desktop or posted out for scholar-use and members can save millions of dollars in storage costs by utilising this facility. Requests from CARM Member libraries are dispatched within 24 hours and receive priority over requests from non-member libraries.
